really i don't get what's with all these stereotypes of ivan being evil :(

i mean i really love hetalia and all but seriously, its not like the things he had done were never done by, well, all the others as well. in fact, some even outmatching in seriousness if you count by statistics or the carried-on impacts.

i've been such a fool. that's not to say i haven't made any smart choices and be constantly self-aware, but still, i realised i've been more emotionally charged than to actually follow my own rules :/


BUT to be ruthlessly pragmatic, nothing is as important as studies now. studies and grades. everything else can go to hell for this time. until december that is.

i've been playing restaurant city on facebook a lot these days. its not like the game is even fun, i basically just go there for the sake of going there really. shows how any game can be addictive as long as you play it a few times |<




for some really weird reason, i keep having mood swings these days. yesterday i burst into hysterical laughter over every little thing. this morning i felt really upset and angsty for no apparent reason, to a point where i almost seriously cried right infront of the entire class. i guess if i actually did it would have been seriously very strange and awkward :S and i don't cry. then during econs test later in the day, i just suddenly had this fit of laughter by reading the case study. really. i really can't explain it.


dang why do i angst at all the wrong times X(



at any rate, i've stopped taking stupid facebook quizes. i guess these things come and go sometimes.

advice for all those susceptible to fever: eat moar ice cream. O____________O


srsly, i tried tons of medication for 2 days and nothing worked, but when i had icecream, woah! the effect was immediate. i was cured in a bath of holy light.






ok, maybe the medicine was working and it just so happened i had icecream abt the same time as my recovery but whatever! i prefer to put my faith in the powers of scrumptious confectionery.


no other news available at the moment. tegaki's getting a bit boring. i can't figure out how to do shading without the entire thing turning out trashy. or without spending a lifetime on a single picture, what with my lack of patience and all. hmmm :/

for some reason i never have interesting dreams anymore, i guess its an on-off thing.

this is completely random, but i'm just gonna right it down.


my mom just called me like 5 min ago and when i went to pick up the home phone, i saw this tincy-wincy spider lazing on my witch doll head. So CUUTE! X3


at first i observed it for a while. it doesn't seem to be moving (don't know whether it's scared of me or just stoning around) and after a while i thought, hey, can't leave it around the house like that! i'll just go take a tissue to smoosh it.

BUT THEN I THOUGHT, noooooo! i shouldn't smoosh it, I SHOULD SET IT FREEEEEE!!! :D:D:D


so i picked up some letter lying around and tried to get it to crawl onto that. but the little guy didn't want to and ran off onto my wall instead. i still tried the letter, but the edge wasn't exactly very smooth so he just avoided it and went up. then i thought if i let him go too high, i wouldn't be able to reach him anymore, so then i had an idea! coz u see, i have this little table-broom-sweepy thing, so i thought i'll just use that to sweep him onto the mini-dustpan, then i can take him out. but when i got it, he was already pretty high up (and i obviously don't want to sweep him onto my shirt or something >>) so i put the dustpan there hoping he'd crawl onto it. but he didn't. in fact, he stopped for a while so i moved the dustpan closer.

then, he suddenly jumped across the edge of the wall and jumped off! :@

and i was like woah so he's a jumping spider, ok i'm gonna use a tissue now. but when i turned the corner, he was gone! i checked the wall, the door, the floor, but he was nowhere in sight.


then i was like awwwww :(


next time, i'll just use a tissue.





in a completely unrelated note, i just realised that almost all my favourite movies had their soundtracks composed by hans zimmer, with the exception of lotr which was composed by howard shore. those are all entire soundtracks btw, not just specific pieces. wow.

seriously i swear, i had a hell lot of stuff i wanna write abt befor ei came here! ><

NO WE CAN'T!!!!!' and i was like LOL WTH XDXDXD

i went to the library with shihui today and i was like, hmmm shall search for mgs in the catalogue for fun. i didn't expect any results but quite some came out actually. BUT GUESS WHAT IT WAS ALL MGS2!!! DX

wow! i can't believe the show's so cool!

you know, when joy said it's a funny series where people do crazy stuff and fall into the muddy water if they fail, i thought it was some kind of joke competition series like the kind you get on nickelodeon. but when i watched it today, i was like... wow! :@

absolutely blown away.


seriously, only olympic-standard champions could hope to pass that thing, or those who are so pro that they probably deserve to be in the olympics anyway.


the funny thing is, the commentary was in jap and (obviously) i don't know a word of jap, but the commentator was so interesting, he actually contributed a lot to the excitement of the show! glad they didn't play the english version in singapore, i saw one on youtube and the english commentator just took the fun out of everything. it's really annoying really :\

but still... wow indeed. :@ normally when i watch people do extraordinarily cool stuff like that i always thought, damn if i could do that too, but this... seriously, i bet even if i train 10 years i'd probably still fail anyway >>




ok in other news, i found this art website frm china, so it's written in chinese and i could actually understand what the artists are saying! :D the only setback is the search engine's down, so i can't actually find the stuff i was looking for :\ but the front page features are all worth a look though :)
